  • NOTE 14 - Oilstone Cohort 11, 1-5 April 2019 'Golden Grove', Newtown, New South Wales.

The eleventh Oilstone program completed in April 2019.

The Oilstone program returned to 'Golden Grove' in Newtown NSW where it now feels thoroughly like 'home'. God blessed us with 12 wonderful Christian leaders who met with us (five women, seven men).

There was a nice mix of pastors (associates and team leaders), university gospel staff workers and our first chaplaincy team leader. We had congregational leaders from various sized churches as well as university leaders and all from NSW and interstate.

    Participant feedback:

Pastor 'Program' size church, University Staff worker.

'I am so thankful to you both for this course. It has revitalised my enthusiasm for making disciples in my ministry and given me realistic tools to do this so much better. Praise God!'

    Pastor, 'Pastoral' size church, Qld.

'Really glad I did this and [name of congregation] needed me to do this.'

    Staff worker Provincial City University.

'Brilliant week! Lived up to the raving reviews from [husband's name]. Really helpful thank you.'

    Staff worker, Metropolitan University Campus.

'Thank you for taking time to apply and give examples of both university and church ministry context. Such great material. Thank you for making it safe for us to share and for encouraging us with your desire for us to lead well for the sake of Christ.'

    Lead pastor, Capital City Church.

'Outstanding program. Not only was time well spent but practical and valuable.'

Michael and Peter are now taking applications for 2020 programs, as well as expressions of interest for speciality programs. Interested? Download one of the brochures on our Links page.
